The analysis and control of quotations made during a certain period were done through searches and date filters within Dynamics 365 Sales. After some analysis by the team and meetings with the company's sales team, it was determined that the project would be excellent for obtaining these quotation metrics.
INTEGRATION WITH DYNAMICS 365 SALES
The integration between Dynamics 365 Sales and Power BI offered a seamless and comprehensive solution for data analysis. The integration allowed for the direct extraction of quotation data from Dynamics 365 and its integration into Power BI, enabling detailed and real-time analysis of the information.
IMPLEMENTATION
Firstly, we gathered all the Excel files developed and centralized them into a single PowerApps that provided the data. After doing this, we migrated the old data to the database of this application and began working on the data and developing visual charts with the aim of providing a managerial view for the purchasing team.
SUCCESS
Once implemented, the sales team identified a deficit in the purchase of materials needed for the production of one of their production lines and a surplus in less consumed materials. As a result, they redirected the budget to the more necessary products and increased the efficiency of their budget utilization.
